Spring ‘24

The front borders

And there she was - Spring! There was bird song, lambs bleating, the pitter patter of rain and colour poured out from everywhere. The front borders were woven with precious jewels, tulips, cobalt anemones, shining narcissi, gently nodding fritillaries, sweet muscari, amongst a structure of topiary, ferns, hellebore leaves and fresh green lupin foliage.

The Tulip Courtyard

There was so much joy to be had from the tulip pots this year. It was a kaleidoscope of paints to play with, moving pots around so the colours sang and the tulips danced.

Under the Oak

There were little glowing wonders, in the grass, underneath the old oak tree. There was white plum tree blossom, blushing sunsets and pink watercolour skies. And the bare bones of the trees were sprouting fresh leaves, signalling a fresh beginning.
